Mike has been in the insurance industry since the mid 90’s and in 2002 took over the management of Silver Creek Insurance Agency, which was owned by Clark Bancshares, Inc. In 2013, the holding company gave him an opportunity to purchase the agency. This new chapter began with the help of longtime employee, Mary Wyman, who has worked with the agency since 1999.
Mike has been a volunteer fireman and EMT since 1983, has served on the church council along with serving as a lector, EME, and cantor. He is also chairman of the village housing authority and township library.

He enjoys visiting a nearby lake for some boating and relaxing in the sun with his wife Tammy, Justin, and their other son Derek, with wife Maggie. Janet has been with Scribner Insurance since 1997. She currently holds the Life and Health license for the agency and has recently earned her personal lines license. Janet is very active with her church, volunteering for many different functions and enjoys spending time with her husband George, and their three children and their families. You may find Janet enjoying a softball game, helping her granddaughters with 4-H projects, and going on camping adventures with friends and family.

Tammy has been with Scribner Insurance since January of 2012. When you call the office more than likely it will be Tammy’s happy voice on the other end. Outside of work Tammy is very busy spending time with her family. She and Lonny enjoy many outdoor activities including lake retreats on the boat. She enjoys spending time with sons Derek, his wife Maggie, and Justin. Tammy also enjoys spending time on the farm with her pal, Griff.

Schawn has been with Scribner Insurance Agency since October of 2013. Schawn is our crop guy and can also assist in all other lines of insurance. When not at the office, Schawn keeps busy with a lawn service business he owns. He enjoys spending time with wife Brenda and their three children, Mason, Reese and Jaxon. Schawn volunteers his time helping coach youth wrestling. When he finds a bit of spare time you might find Schawn swinging the golf club or fishing on the lake.

Laura has been with Scribner Insurance since 2014. Laura can assist with any billing questions you may have and all lines of personal insurance. In her free time Laura enjoys spending time with her husband Bill on their farm near Scribner. She enjoys sewing and crafts. During the summer months Laura and Bill assist in running Cowboy Shoots at various sites throughout Nebraska. Laura is also very proud of her their son Tom and their two grandchildren.

Brenda has been with Scribner Insurance since June of 2015. Brenda can assist in all lines of personal and commercial insurance. Outside the office, Brenda tries to keep up with her three kids, Grace, Jake, Lindsey, the family troublemaker Beau and enjoys spending time with her husband Russ. In her spare time, she enjoys family camping trips, kayaking, biking and running. Brenda volunteers her time coaching on the youth league teams in North Bend.

Sandy joined the company in 1997 when the new office building opened in Wilber. She is a graduate of SCC Beatrice with an Associates Degree in Business. She currently serves as underwriter and daily office support.
In her spare time, she is active with Saline County 4H, serving as a leader for over 40 years. She also volunteers with her church, quilts, and stays busy with her many grandchildren’s activities.

Vicky began working in the insurance industry in 1982, however in 1995, she took a break from insurance to be a stay-at-home mom. In March 2001, she joined the company in the main Wilber office. She now serves as the claim’s processor and daily office support. In her spare time, she enjoys reading a good book, bike riding, walking outdoors, and spending time with her granddaughter, Tara.

Doug has been an independent adjuster since 2004.
He farms near Nelson, NE and raises cattle. He also sells crop insurance on the side. He has been married to his wife Connie for 40 years, and they have been blessed with three sons and a daughter. When he is not adjusting claims, he enjoys playing a round of golf and spending time with his three grandchildren.
